Academic Status: Unitary Continuing Education vs Distance Correspondence

As an Institute of National Importance and premier research university, TISS Mumbai does not operate open correspondence distance education for mass undergraduate streams (such as BA/B.Com). Instead, its Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) delivers industry-grade, credit-bearing Master of Technology degrees and professional certificates to practicing scientists and engineers through its proprietary LMS portal, complete with proctored examinations and capstone projects.
